1957年生。1976年從事紫砂陶事。1977年于江蘇省宜興陶校學習。1986年畢業于無錫輕工職大美術裝潢專業。正高級工藝美術師，中國藝術研究院紫砂研究院研究員，聯合國教科文組織國際陶藝學會會員。中國工藝美術大師，中國陶瓷藝術大師, 中國美術家協會會員。江蘇省陶協陶瓷藝術委員會主任、《江蘇陶藝》主編。
Wu Ming, born in 1957. In 1976 he was engaged in the work of Zisha pottery. He studied in Yixing Pottery School of Jiangsu Province in 1977.
